Worst. Assistant. Ever.

He falls asleep at the shoot, won't carry anything, and I don't understand a word he's saying. On the up side he does work for belly rubs.

I'm an animal lover and a bit of a cat lady when it comes down to it. This is my cat, Motoquinha (it means little motorcycle in portuguese) who I adopted from Barc Shelter when he was little. Sometimes I'll bring him along to the studio when I've been working late multiple days in a row, which he thinks is pretty much the greatest thing in the world. Here he is luxuriating around Nylon's beauty products, and who won't love that? Wednesday I'll post the tears from this shoot.

Anthony Luciano's studio and details

In addition to shooting Anthony's stunning hand bags in my studio, I also shot his studio where he hand makes the purses, clutches, and bags. Anthony is known for incorporating vintage hardware into many of his bags which pour out of drawers waiting for just the right hand bag to be a part of.
