Elle.com Holiday gift guide

Working for Elle.com on their Holiday Gift Guide was one of my favorite jobs ever! My amazing Stylist, Richard Alfredo, and I created a ton of beautiful images. We had so much fun working with the graphic hardware-store-type props and juxtaposing them on the varied luxury goods, each demanding their own very specific lighting. In the end, Elle liked so many of the images that more of them will be appearing in other areas of the website in the future. I'll be sure to post those images as well. Enjoy!

Update

I've been super busy recently and, unfortunately, haven't had time to post as much to the blog. In attempt to not overwhelm the blog, I'll dole it out slowly. I've got a lot of new images, a lot of new clients, including Elle.com, new work for Nicole Miller, Nylon, Bust, and Victorinox, and more fun personal work!

New Personal Work

I spotted these different kinds of pasta while in Little Italy and feel in love with the sweeping shapes and textures. I've had it in the studio for a good year and a half waiting for the perfect way to light it to come to me. Here's the result through a very special oblique back lighting technique.

I managed to miss this until now, but my images are on Kids With Candy. I shot these amazing high end pet tags for Me and Miss Jones. What a fun concept, right!? The extremely talented Even Kafka shot the animal images.
